Sex And The City 2 got confirmed

There's been talk of a Sex and the City movie sequel since the first one came out and we can now toast our cosmopolitans to celebrate the big news because the second movie will be out 28th may 2010 in USA!
Sarah Jessica Parker says she wants the script to be packed with funny storylines. Since the last one had a very mature story, she wants this one to be lighter.What should happen in the second movie? If you want some inspiration, I suggest you read the "What should happen in the Sex and the City sequel?" post on the Entertainment Weekly website where they list interesting ideas like the one about Big losing his fortune due to the current economic crisis for instance!

Il y a eu pas mal de rumeurs sur une suite du film Sex and The City depuis que le numéro un était sorti. Nous pouvons maintenant célébrer la bonne nouvelle et lever un verre avec nos cosmopolitains car le second film sortira aux USA le 28 mai 2010 !
Sarah Jessica Parker souhaite que le script soit rempli de réparties amusantes. Etant donné que le dernier film était basé sur une histoire assez sérieuse, elle voudrait que celui-ci soit d’un style plus léger.

Anna Wintour will soon be on the big screen to reveal how Vogue US is backstage. Thanks to R.J.Cutler, Director of the movie, we will be able to follow the big boss at Vogue. The September Issue will finally provide a real insight into Vogue US during the fall-winter number. Anna reassured that the film would really represent life at the magazine.

Anna Wintour sera bientôt sur grand écran pour dévoiler les coulisses de Vogue US. La rédactrice en chef du magazine a été suivie par une équipe de tournage sous la direction de R.J. Cutler. Le film, intitulé The September Issue, c’est-à-dire le numéro de septembre retracera les étapes du spécial mode automne-hiver. Anna a assuré que le film reflèterait la vie au sein du magazine. Sofia Coppola & Dior Chérie

Sofia Coppola's first-ever commercial, features Maryna Linchuk for Miss Dior Cherie fragrance. Coppola directed Maryna through Paris streets, all to Brigitte Bardot's song, “Moi, Je Joue”.
In France, you will have to wait until March 2009 to watch the commercial on tv but you can already have a look at it now on Youtube! In the USA, they have already broadcasted it during the show “Gossip girl”.

Sofia Coppola & Dior Chérie

Sofia Coppola a réalisé le tout dernier spot publicitaire pour la campagne du parfum Dior Chérie avec en vedette la jolie Maryna Linchuk.Sofia a filmé une promenade à vélo de la jeune fille dans Paris et a choisi comme air une chanson de Brigitte Bardot « Moi, je joue » .

Le spot sortira en France en mars prochain mais vous pouvez déjà y jeter un coup d’œil sur Youtube. Aux Etats-Unis, il a déjà été diffusé lors d'un épisode de "Gossip Girl".

La mode et les films

En attendant la sortie du film avec Audrey Tautou sur Chanel, voici un pot-pourri de films qu’il est toujours intéressant de revoir quand on est fashion addict. Personnellement, je ne pourrais pas dire que l’un d’entre eux ait été vraiment révélateur. J’attends toujours avec impatience un film efficace nous faisant découvrir les coulisses de la mode et l’ampleur de son pouvoir.

Audrey Tautou & Chanel

Audrey Tautou was chosen to interpret the famous stylist Coco Chanel, in a biographical movie produced by Warner Bros, the “Coco Chanel project” (working title).
She will be playing Gabrielle Chanel when she was a young orphan coming from Massif Central (France) and who left to Paris in order to sing in cabarets. The one who discovered the world of fashion and the world of men. The scenario will be inspired by the biography of Chanel written by Edmonde Charles-Roux called “L’irrégulière”.
The movie should be currently shooting in Paris and is produced by Anne Fontaine. As for the costumes, they are created by Karl Lagerfeld, the current artistic director of Chanel. The movie should be released in 2009. Be patient! By then, maybe you will be able to watch at least one of the two other long-film dedicated to Chanel.

Audrey Tautou & Chanel

Audrey Tautou a été choisie pour incarner la célèbre styliste Coco Chanel dans un film biographique produit par Warner Bros intitulé « Coco avant Chanel ».
Elle sera Gabrielle Chanel, celle des débuts, la petite orpheline originaire du Massif central, celle qui monte à Paris et qui chante dans les cabarets, celle qui découvre le monde de la mode et les hommes. Le scénario sera librement inspiré de la biographie de Chanel écrite par Edmonde Charles-Roux : « L’irrégulière ». Le tournage du film, intitulé "Coco avant Chanel" devrait avoir débuté à Paris le 15 septembre, sous la direction de la réalisatrice française Anne Fontaine.Quant aux costumes, ils sont créés par Karl Lagerfeld, l'actuel directeur artistique de Chanel. Le film devrait, avec un peu de chance, être sur les écrans début 2009. Patience ! D’ici là, peut-être que les deux autres longs métrages consacrés à Mlle Chanel auront vu le jour.
