MTV announced last year that Whitney Port would no longer be involved in "The Hills" series starting early 2009. Indeed, The Teen Vogue former fashion contributor got her own spin-off called "The City". It shows her journey in New York City as a new employee of Diane Von Furstenberg. The series features Whitney's struggle in pursuing fashion world career as well as having love issues. En effet, l’ancienne collaboratrice de mode pour Teen Vogue a eu droit à son propre spin-off appelé « The City ». La série dépeint les aventures de Whitney partie à la découverte de New York et travaillant pour Diane Von Furstenberg afin de monter les marches de l’industrie de la mode. The new anti-piracy law is now effective in Sweden

Sweden, home of The Pirate Bay is introducing a new law that will make it easier to go after individuals who share copyrighted files on filesharing networks. The Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Directive (IPRED) law will enable copyright holders to get their hands on the personal details of suspected illicit file-sharers. The entertainment industry will now have more effective tools to track down illegaly downloaded material.

If several European neighbours already have such a directive, Sweden has had terrible problems with piracy and no effective law. From now on, copyright holders can get a court order requesting ISPs to provide IP adresses associated with computers which have downloaded copyrighted material without paying for it. From the 1st of April, the authorities will start get proofs that files were illegaly downloaded since everything downloaded before that date is not usable.

MAX is finally opening its first restaurant in Göteborg in April!

When it comes to hamburgers, Max remains the best for me. It is fresh, it has GI burgers and tastes good. And it is now high time for Max to open a new restaurant, only this time, it will be in central Göteborg! They are going be established in Gamla Ullevi which comes with a few restrictions. Indeed, they had to accept “clean court “ and sign a contract saying that they can’t be opened during some special events so that Mc Donalds, the official sponsor doesn’t have any competitors.

What took so long for Max to be in Göteborg? It was hard to find the right place for a first Max restaurant and also, once they open one they want to have the possibility to expand the restaurants into the city. So be happy cause within a few years we may get 3 or 4 more Max!!

En ce qui concerne les hamburgers, Max est à mon avis le meilleur. Les produits sont frais, ils ont des hamburgers plus sains et ils ont bon goût. Et il est enfin temps pour Max d'ouvrir un nouveau restaurant , sauf que cette fois-ci, cela sera à Göteborg! Ils vont s'installer à Gamla Ullevi, ce qui entraînera certaines restrictions. En effet, ils ont dû accepté une close sur la "clean court" et signer un contrat indiquant qu'ils ne pourront pas être ouverts lors de certains événements spéciaux afin que Mc Donalds n'ait pas de concurrence.

Pourquoi est-ce que Max a mis autant de temps à s'intaller à Göteborg? D'abord, il était difficile de trouver l'endroit adéquate. De plus, une fois qu'ils ont trouver un emplacement, il faut qu'ils aient la possibilité d'étendre la chaîne dans d'autres zones de la ville? Alors soyez heureux car d'ici quelques années, il devrait y avoir 3 ou 4 Max de plus!

H&M and Matthew Williamson

Swedish fashion giant Hennes & Mauritz brought in British celebrity designer Matthew Williamson to create its next guest collection.

H&M's tradition of bringing in guest designers has been a big hit for the group. Williamson will start with a women's range at some stores on April 23, followed by men's and women's summer clothes to be offered from all H&M outlets from mid-May.

Madonna’s new Greatest Hits album to be released this fall

Madonna's first "greatest hits" album since 2001 will be released this fall. It should include a few new songs and be released in September. Last week, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, asked his Twitter followers which hits should be included on the compilation. It will be the last album to be released by Warner Records since Madonna signed a record deal with Live Nation in 2007 and had one album left to be recorded.

Le nouveau “Greatest Hits” de Madonna sortira cette automne

Le premier « Greatest Hits » depuis 2001 sortira cet automne. Il devrait inclure quelques nouvelles chansons et sortir en septembre. La semaine dernière, le manager de Madonna, Guy Oseary à demandé à ses followers sur Twitter de donner leur avis sur les titres qui devraient être inclus. Cela sera le dernier album de Warner Records étant donné que Madonna a signé un contrat avec Live Nation en 2007 et qu’il lui restait un album à enregistrer.

Millenium II and III to be at the movies this fall!

From the beginning, "The Girl Who Played with Fire” and “The Air Castle That Was Blown Up” were supposed to be broadcasted on SVT, the swedish tv channel and be released on dvd. On Friday, we got to know that SVT had chosen another direction and that by the end, there would be two more movies. The reason would be that the swedish film industry was having a hard time according to the Filminstitutet and that the trilogy could save 2009.

There will also be a tv serie that should give many more details than the movie. The latest will be broadcasted on tv in februari / march 2010 and will feature 6 episodes of 90 minutes. The movie dvd should be released in Christmas 2009.

Millenium II et III sortiront au cinéma cet automne!

Depuis le début, « La fille qui rêvait d'un bidon d'essence et d'une allumette » et le troisième et dernier volet des livres de Stieg Larsson, « La Reine dans le palais des courants d'air » étaient supposés être transmis à la télévision suédoise, sur la chaîne SVT et sortir en DVD. Vendredi dernier, nous avons appris que SVT avait choisi de suivre une autre voie et que les films sortiraient finalement au cinéma. La raison serait que l’industrie du film suédoise aurait vécu des moments difficiles selon Filminstitutet et que la trilogie pourrait sauver le cru 2009.

Il y aura également une série télévisée qui s'étendra plus sur les détails que le film et qui sera diffusée en février/mars 2010 en 6 épisodes de 90 minutes. Le DVD du film sortira en décembre prochain.

Glamour magazine organizes ”Stiletto Run”, a high heels race in a few cities around Sweden. One lucky girl becomes the winner of 100 000 kr to buy clothes for!

How to subscribe?
Send an email to red@glamour.se, write your name, adress, personnummer, telephone number and explain why (in maximum 50 words) why you should be able to compete in the race. Tell them in which city you want to run.
150 women will be chosen to compete for each city.

The rules?
Be at least 18 years old and be a woman
Your heels must be at least 7 cm high and 1,5 cm large.
You can’t be a professionnal race runner
You can’t compete if you have already won the race

Madonna and Jesus Luz are moving in together!

Madonna 50 and Jesus Luz 22 are moving in together in Madonna's appartment in Manhattan. The young brasilian top model used to be a porn actor but I'm guessing he won't need to keep going in that direction anymore... He even got a big contract with Ford Models for the amount of 1,2 million kronor.

You can see how hot it already was between them on this Steven Klein photoshoot for W magazine from february 09. When you think that she just got divorced, we all probably wonder how long this relationship will last...really....

Madonna et Jesus Luz emménagent ensemble!

Madonna, 50 ans et Jesus Luz ,22 ans, emménagent ensemble dans l'appartement de Madonna à Manhattan. Le jeune top model brésilien a été acteur de films X mais on se doute bien qu'il a déjà du mettre un terme à cette carrière.. En effet, il a déjà obtenu un gros contrat avec l'agence Ford Models d'une valeur de 1,2 millions de couronnes suédoises.

Vous pouvez observer à quel point c'était déjà intense entre eux lors du photoshoot de Steven Klein pour le magazine W en février 09. Lorsqu'on pense qu'elle vient juste de divorcer, on se demande tous certainement combien de temps cette relation va durer...vraiment...
