Getting married Part 3 : the perfect place.

This is according to me one of the most difficult decisions to take. Where is the wedding going to take place!? There are many questions you need to ask yourself:
- what is you budget?
- which kind of place do you want: in the countryside, in town, romantic, chic..?
- how many guests may you have?
- don’t forget that you have to book it quite a long time in advance and get a contract

- what does the price include? (electricity, tables, decoration....)

After having talked about it with my fiancé, it became quite clear to us that we would choose France and particularly Pau. As I come from a small village, it seemed a bit too complicated to organize the wedding in the village since it would be more difficult for our Swedish guests to get there without a car rental. Pau was he solution with it’s train station and airport, since many guests would come from abroad or other regions in France. And also, since Pau is where Bernadotte was from, it has a more historical, symbolical meaning for both of us.

Now, we have chosen the place and booked it! A romantic, beautiful and meaningful place for us to have the reception. Where it will be? That is our secret….

Se marier: 3ème partie: le lieu parfait

D’après moi, il s’agit d’une des décisions les plus difficiles à prendre. Où est ce que la mariage va avoir lieu ?!

Il y a plusieurs questions à se poser:
- quel est votre budget ?
- de quel genre d’endroit êtes-vous à la recherche : à la campagne, en ville, romantique, chic.. ?
- combien d’invités devrait-il y avoir environ ?
- est-ce qu'il n'est pas trop tard pour réserver ?

- que comprend le prix? ( l'électricité, les tables, la décoration....)

Après en avoir parlé avec mon fiancé, il nous a semblé clair que nous choisirions la France, Pau en particulier. Etant donné que je viens d’un petit village, cela me semblait difficile d’organiser un mariage dans un village par rapport aux problèmes que cela poserait pour le transport, surtout pour les suédois. Pau était l’évidence même avec sa gare, son aéroport étant donné que beaucoup d’invités viendront de l’étranger ou d’autres régions de France. Par ailleurs, étant donné que Bernadotte vient de Pau, cela a pris une ampleur plus historique et symbolique pour nous.

Maintenant, nous avons trouvé notre lieu de réception et nous l’avons également réservé ! C’est romantique, magnifique et c’est un endroit stratégique pour nous. Où est-ce que cela sera ? Cela reste notre secret….
